Miami-Dade County has the power to solve three of the most significant challenges it currently faces – affordability, transit gridlock, and attracting quality, high-paying new jobs.  The past Commission lacked the political will and know-how necessary to solve them.  By creating “Business Hubs” in strategic locations throughout the southern and western parts of the county, we could entice large and small businesses from around the country and around the world, to establish their base of operations within these “Hubs,” thereby:

  • Creating new, high-paying jobs, our residents need to prosper located closer to their homes.
  • Effectively reversing the current traffic flows from downtown in the east to the south and west, greatly alleviating the severe traffic congestion we have now.
  • Lowering personal transportation costs while making public transportation more attractive to the general public.
